Doggie Daycare
*Dogs must be spayed/nuetered in order to attend doggie daycare or boarding. NO exceptions.
Doggie Daycare is perfect for one-dog families or dogs that need daily exercise. We provide special attention to help build positive social behavior and confidence—all while having a good time! After a day at Hound Haven, your dog will come home a more relaxed and happy pet! Dogs must be socialized prior to attending.
Daycare drop off is between 7am-10am.
$30 (last pickup 5:30)
*Half day rates are not offered.
*If dogs are not picked up by 5:30 pm they will be boarded for the evening.

*Monthly packages are prepaid with a small discount. A monthly package will guarantee a spot for doggie daycare!
Packages are set up as a monthly subscription. They last for 30 days. If you do not reschedule your day it will still be counted as used!

Boarding
Staying at Hound Haven by the Bay is a vacation for your dog! Our facility is on the smaller side, so we are able to provide personal attention and quality time with your dog. Your pup will enjoy hours of playtime, socialization, belly rubs and naps. Hound Havens’ accommodations provide a safe enclosure for your dog to sleep in after a long day of play! Our enclosures are used for sleeping purposes only. Boarding dogs are placed in groups with daycare dogs. We do not have the facilities to board dogs in a separate area, therefore they must not be aggressive towards other dogs or people. Dogs must be socialized and kennel trained prior to attending.

HOUND LOUNGE
The Hound Lounge is perfect for larger breeds or multiple dog families. It is an enclosure free area with a fold out loveseat, large accent chairs and extra doggie beds! Just an all-around, spacious area for your dogs overnight vacation. There is access to this area for all dogs during regular hours for resting and naptime!

If your dog is not picked up by 5:30pm from daycare they will be boarded for that evening. Our boarding rate is $45.00 per night.
Boarding Hours
Monday-Friday 7:00am-5:30pm
Saturday 9:00am-10:00am or 4:30-5:00pm (Pick up/Drop off only for Boarding. No Doggie Daycare on Saturdays) You must make an appointment during one of these time slots for drop off/pick up.
Sunday-CLOSED
You are welcome to drop off/pick up your dog during any of our business hours by appointment only!
—Check out for Boarding is 10:30am on pick up day. Any pick ups after this time will be charged a full day of daycare. Saturdays are by appointment only between 9:00-10:00am and 4:30-5:00pm. We are CLOSED on Sundays.
_We are NOT open for daycare, pick up or drop off on major holidays such as Thanksgiving, Christmas eve, Christmas Day, New Years eve (closed for doggie daycare) New Years Day, and Easter. Your dog will be taken care of on those days but please plan accordingly.
Doggie Daycare & Boarding Requirements
_Dogs must be spayed/neutered and at least 1 years old. NO EXCEPTIONS. If your dog is under 1 years old and FIXED that is ok. We do not accept puppies that are not spayed or nuetered.
—Dogs must be non-aggressive (towards people AND dogs)
_We have a weight minimum of 20 pounds.
_Senior dogs are taken on a case by case basis. We evaluate and see if your dog will be comfortable here!
_We do NOT accept dogs with separation anxiety! If your dog comes for an evaluation and shows signs of mild to extreme anxiety we will not accept your dog. We determine whether or not your dog will be comfortable in our environment.
—Dogs must not be escape artists (this includes jumping or climbing gates inside the facility, jumping over front desk, digging holes around perimeter of fencing, and lastly climbing or jumping fences outside.)
_Dogs must be kennel trained. We use kennels in the evenings for sleeping so they must be comfortable in one. You can ask about our kennel free area and if is it available.
_NO excessive barking or humping. This will result in a failed evaluation.
—Dogs must successfully complete an evaluation day prior to attending Doggie Daycare or Boarding. The evaluation day must be a minimum of 6 hours. The evaluation day is $30 (daily doggie daycare rate) If your dog does NOT pass the evaluation day the fee is waived. Dogs are to be dropped off between 7-10am. Evaluations are held Monday-Friday. If you are coming from out of town your dog must still complete an evaluation. We do not accept references from previous facilities.
—Rabies, DHLPP and Bordetella (Kennel cough) vaccinations must be current and up to date. (proof required)
—Dogs must be on a flea preventative
_We do not accept German/Dutch Shepherds, Pitbulls or predominantly Pit mixes, Belgian Malinois, Great Pyreenes, Cane Corso, Rottweillers, Akitas and Doberman Pinschers.
—We require an evaluation day (minimum of 6 hours) to make sure your dog is a good fit for daycare and boarding. These must be held at least 24 hours prior to attending doggie daycare or a boarding stay. We do NOT accept first time reservations without a successful evaluation day. We also require a copy of your dog’s up to date vaccination records on or before the evaluation. These can be emailed to us at houndhavenbeaufort@gmail.com. Failure to provide to provide the vaccination records will result in no evaluation. You will be turned away so please remember to bring them!
